Following the purchase of Evode Roofing by Tarmac in 1988 Evode Roofing became part of Briggs Amasco Ltd and changed its name to Hyflex Roofing Ltd. Mark gained promotion to Technical Services Manager in 1991.
Mark was an active member of ELRA, becoming Chairman in 2002 a position held until 2005 during which time the association changed its name to LRWA. He was Vice Chairman of ELWA and Chairman of the Technical Committee from 2005 – 2007.
In 2007 Mark moved into Briggs Amasco as the Area Safety Advisor for Scotland and the North of England but moved back to Hyflex in 2010 as Technical and Health and Safety Manager, when he represented the company at LRWA meetings and Technical Committee meetings.
Mark currently works for Dove Technology Ltd, a company he jointly owns with long term friend, John Bellerby. Dove manufacture a range of adhesives specifically designed for the flat roofing industry and are associate members of the LRWA.
Mark was elected to the board in 2016.
